For both options · After you write
What happens after you write
The steps are the same for both options. He shares information about himself first. Either of you can stop at any step, without explaining why.
- You write to him.Say which option you are interested in. Then answer the questions in your own words. Write as much or as little as you like.
- He answers within 7 days.He answers every letter, even when the answer is no.
- You talk 2 or 3 times by video. You decide together, as you go, when to turn your cameras on. You both show your faces, or neither of you does.
- He tells you who he is.His name and his full medical reports, before you decide anything.
- You meet in person. He travels to you. You can still say no after you meet.
- You both decide. If you both say yes, you agree on the details of your option before anything else happens.
What depends on the option
What you agree at the end is different. Option B is short and fixed, so agreeing on it is quick. Option A needs a longer conversation about how you will share the years ahead, and its pages explain what that conversation covers.
Why it is quick
He reads and answers every letter himself, within 7 days. He would rather answer honestly and quickly than leave anyone waiting. From your first letter to a decision usually takes 6 weeks or less.
He prefers to give you a clear no quickly, rather than a slow maybe. A decision like this should be made carefully, and then made.
He may be writing with a few other women at the same time, and he does not pretend otherwise. You can ask at any time where things stand, and you will get an honest answer.
