How you get pregnant
In Option A, you choose the method together, after your video calls. Nobody has to decide this before you know each other. Nothing you say about it is a promise.
You can talk about using a clinic, or about other ways. Nothing is decided in advance. Either of you can say no to any method, at any time, without giving a reason.
Why it is not decided on this page
The method changes how you get pregnant. It does not change whether this plan is right for you, and that is the question this website helps you answer. Choosing the method in public, before you know each other, would put the small question before the big one.
The method can also matter in law. In some countries, it decides whether a man is legally the child’s father. This has consequences for both of you, so it is worth asking a lawyer.
Health checks for both of you
Before pregnancy, you both do a recent general health check. His results are on the health and fertility page, and you see his full medical reports after your video calls. He asks you for the same, in private, for the same reason: it protects the child first.
Your right to say no
This is said clearly because many women worry about it. Either of you can say no to any method, at any time, even after saying yes. Neither of you has to explain why.
If you ever feel pushed, that is reason enough to stop. Stopping costs you nothing.
